The Blackdown Hills AONB in conjunction with Devon’s Historic Environment Team have produced some wonderful resources for Key Stage 1 and 2 primary school children to help teachers, mums, dads and adults with a field trip to Hembury Fort, Payhembury. These are downloadable PDF lesson plans and accompanying resource packs to help create an engaging trip where your children can explore and learn about an area where Stone Age people and the Roman Army once roamed.
